Cost-Effective IoT-sensor
Dropstick is the result of intensive collaboration between the Lapland University of Applied Sciences and Marjetas. Designed, manufactured and intensively tested in Finland, it is the latest generation of wireless (IoT) sensors for road weather information. Dropstick is installed to pavement in a barely visible and non-obstructive way for trac.
Roads are subject to a myriad of dierent micro-climates. Hence, it is fundamental to cover as many measurement points as possible with sensors having both a great accuracy and a low cost of ownership. Dropstick is geared towards bringing big data one step closer.
