Square Tracker Xtreme is a ruggedized, low-power device designed for reliable indoor and outdoor positioning and asset tracking. It supports both Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) and GNSS (GPS & BeiDou) geolocation, enabling accurate positioning across a wide range of environments.
By scanning nearby Wi-Fi MAC addresses, it enables efficient positioning in indoor and GPS-denied environments with very low power consumption, while GNSS provides positioning capability for outdoor use.

Positioning technology
Square Tracker Xtreme primarily uses Wi-Fi-based positioning by scanning nearby Wi-Fi MAC addresses, with location calculated via a cloud-based location service.
This enables efficient positioning in indoor and GPS-denied environments with very low power consumption.
For outdoor use, the device also supports GNSS (GPS & BeiDou), providing additional positioning capability.
This functionality requires a compatible cloud service such as Sensative Yggio.
Smart operation & power efficiency
The built-in 3D accelerometer enables intelligent operation by detecting motion and tilt. This can be used for movement alarms or to control device activity, such as entering sleep mode during inactivity to conserve energy.
Battery & performance
Square Tracker Xtreme includes a 4 Ah battery supporting over 10 years of battery life under standard configuration.

Installation
