Square Tracker Xtreme GPS is a ruggedized, low-power device designed for reliable indoor and outdoor positioning and asset tracking. It supports both Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) and GNSS (GPS & BeiDou) geolocation, enabling accurate positioning across a wide range of environments.

Compared to Square Tracker Xtreme, this version is optimized for enhanced GNSS performance and features an 18 × 18 mm patch antenna with directional characteristics and up to 2.4 dBi gain. This improves positioning accuracy and reliability in outdoor conditions.

By scanning nearby Wi-Fi MAC addresses, it enables efficient positioning in indoor and GPS-denied environments with very low power consumption, while GNSS provides positioning capability for outdoor use.

Built for industrial applications, it features a sealed enclosure, conformal-coated electronics, and a robust mechanical design, making it suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor use.

Positioning technology

Square Tracker Xtreme GPS uses both GNSS (GPS & BeiDou) and Wi-Fi-based positioning, with location calculated via a cloud-based location service.

GNSS enables outdoor positioning, while Wi-Fi scanning supports positioning in indoor or GPS-denied environments.

This functionality requires a compatible cloud service such as Sensative Yggio.

Smart operation & power efficiency

The built-in 3D accelerometer detects motion and tilt and can be used for movement-based alarms or to control device activity such as entering sleep mode during inactivity.

This enables configuration of the device based on required positioning performance and battery lifetime.
